Our Staff

The professional staff at Solutions are highly qualified and experienced in the area of mental health and alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs of abuse.  The agency is comprised of a multidisciplinary staff consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, counselors, and chemical dependency counselors.

Bauman, Karen, LISW-S

Outpatient Therapist

Ms. Bauman holds a Master of Science in Social Administration. She attended Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Bauman works with Children, Adolescents, and Adults, Couples and Marital Therapy, Incest Survivors, Abuse Survivors, Adoption Issues, and Family Therapy. 

Bohley, Jon PCC, LCDCIII, TTS

Outpatient Therapist

Mr. Bohley holds a Master of Clinical Pastoral Counseling. He attended Bowling Green State University and Ashland Theological Seminary. Mr. Bohley works with Children, Adolescents, and Adults with both mental health and substance dependence issues. Mr. Bohley is also a Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

Bradley, Cynthia, BS, QHMS

School Aide

Ms. Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Women’s University.  She is licensed with the state of Ohio as a Substitute Teacher.  Ms Bradley currently works with the Child and Family Intervention Team School.

Deb Brookshire, LSW, PCC-S

Intensive Home Based Therapist (FIRST)

Ms. Brookshire holds a Master of Arts. She attended Clarke College in Dubuque Iowa and Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland Ohio. Ms. Brookshire has twenty-seven years of experience in the field and works with families, youth and children; foster care and adoption, incarcerated women, elderly, and training in trauma and sexual abuse.

Byrd, Corrine, LISW

Outpatient Therapist

Ms. Byrd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and Master of Social Work. She attended Bowling Green Stated University, and the University of Akron. Ms. Byrd works with youth through geriatrics for Chemical Dependency and Mental Health issues.

Outpatient Therapist

Ms. Caperton holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and  Master of Social Work. She attended Edison Community College, Florida Gulf Coast University, and the University of Akron. Ms. Caperton works with youth through geriatrics for Chemical Dependency and Mental Health issues.

Ms. Cass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College.  She has sixteen years in the field and currently works with the Child and Family Intervention Team School.

Chee, MaryAnn, PhD

Psychologist

Dr. Chee holds a Doctorate of  Psychology. She attended Purdue University. She has experience in the field working with Behavioral Techniques, Motivational Interviewing Techniques, and Behavioral Assessments. The specialized program that Dr. Chee provides is Medina County Department of Job and Family Service assessments and Liaison work.

Ms. Devore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work.  She attended Kent State University and the University of Akron.  She works providing community psychiatric support to children and families involved with the Family Intervention Support Team.

Dockrill, Diane

Community Services Coordinator

Ms. Dockrill holds a Master degree of Education and is also a Certified Prevention Specialist II with the state of Ohio.  She attended Baldwin-Wallace College and Cleveland State University.  She has over eighteen years of experience in Wellness Consultation, Education, Training, and Prevention Services at the County, State, and National levels.

Enright, Morgan, PC-CR

Prevention Specialist—CARE Team

Ms. Enright holds a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Kent State University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Clinical Resident.  Ms. Enright has experience working with parent-child interaction therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Oppositional Behaviors, Depression, Anxiety, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Fields, Danelle, MS

Outpatient Therapist

Ms. Fields holds a Bachelor degree from Westminster College and a Master degree from Cumberland University.  She is a PhD Candidate working under Dr. Bradford Williams.  She has received training in Psychological testing, outpatient therapy, consultation, evaluation, pain management, behavioral medicine and Neuropsychology.  She has experience working with developmental disabilities, pain disorders, neuropsychological conditions, college students, anxiety disorders, individuals with disabilities, children with a history of abuse, and problems with coping.

Outpatient Therapist

Ms. Gardner holds a Master of Community Counseling. She attended West Virginia University and Hood College.  She is Certified Gambling Counselor and has experience with Juvenile Drug Court.

Gaul, Emily, LSW

Community Psychiatric Support Team

Ms. Gaul holds a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Malone College .  She is a Licensed Social Worker within the State Ohio.  Ms. Gaul is working as a CPST with adult mental health clients.  She has experience working with adults with severe mental illness and children/adolescents with severe behavioral handicaps.  She has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and facilitated groups for three and a half years.  She has also served as a liaison to mental health courts previously.

Ms. Gobrogge holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. She has experience in the field and has specialized experience working with children and adolescents.

Recidivism Prevention Specialist

Ms. Growley holds a Bachelor of Psychology Degree from John Carroll University and a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University. Ms. Growley also has a Professional Counselor license and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant certification and is a member of Chi Sigma Iota. She has experience working with individuals who have substance abuse issues or require detoxification.

Ms. Hofelich holds Masters Degrees in Social Work and Psychology. She attended Ohio State University and Cleveland State University. She has experience in the field working with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autistic Spectrum, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, Family and Group Therapy. The specialized programs which Ms. Hofelich works with are the Divorced and Unmarried Parent Groups and the Changing Families Group for Children.

Mr. Jowers holds a Master of Science in Social Administration. He attended Youngstown State University and Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Jowers has experience in the field working with Alcohol, Other Drug, and Mental Health Issues, Anger Management, Marital and Couples Therapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, and Stress Management. The specialized programs which he works with include Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Substance Abuse Counseling, and Intervention Process.

Ms. Kathe holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University and a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling degree from the University of Akron.  She is a Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with the state of Ohio.   She is also certified in EAGALA Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and is a certified Adoption Assessor.  Ms. Kathe has experience working with individuals, families, and couples.

Ms. McDaniels holds an MSSA degree. She attended the University of Akron and Case Western University. She has experience in the field. Ms. McDaniels has special experience working with sexually abused children and their families, teens in alternative placement, women’s issues, and couples therapy. She also has over 20 years of experience conducting workshops and in-service trainings at the state and local level.

Ms. Shelton holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Akron.  She is a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III with the state of Ohio.  She is Certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy through EAGALA.  Ms. Shelton has experience working with adults and teenagers with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
